Collodion Photography

Timeless treasures of the heart

Collodion Wet Plate Photography

Would you call him a photographer or an alchemist? Collodion wet plate photography, one of the earliest photographic processes, was invented in 1851 by Frederic Scott Archer, and it requires both skills.

Collodion Photo

Handmade from start to finish, each plate is carefully coated in collodion and sensitized in a silver nitrate bath. This light-sensitive plate is then exposed to light to make a picture.

With a mobile darkroom, we can shoot just about anywhere at the hotel. You can also try a studio experience at Red Light Lab Studio, which is located just 15 minutes away in a tuk-tuk.

Collodion wet plate photo is known to last forever. Capture your moment with us and take home this unique portrait. This one-off photograph can never be copied.
